My Students Honored by Winter Park (Again!)
Good Art News!
Orlando Junior Academy again celebrates the news that one of our students has been recognized for their artistic ability by the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce. Jeneice Ware won the chamber’s Holiday Art Contest. Her artwork, of an elegant swan wreathed in holiday splendor, will be transferred to a large banner and hung from lamp posts along the streets of downtown Winter Park. Her work will join the artwork of past recipients of this award, including OJA’s past winners. Jeneice was honored Friday during Winter Park’s annual tree lighting ceremony. She stood with the three other art winners on the platform and was recognized by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and local sponsoring bank representatives who presented the cash awards!
Congratulations Jeneice!
With interesting art projects and ideas, come the fruits of our artistic labors. I’d like to share an online art gallery featuring some finalists and winning entries from two area art contest our OJA students were entered in- The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Holiday Card Competition and the Orlando Sentinel’s Holiday Art Contest.
